Bleo Day

Folks, any medicine that makes you feel like you have the flu doesn't qualify as medicine in my book. I'm just saying. On the 2nd, the 9th and the 16th of each of her cycle, Mom has a bleomycin infusion. It works out that every single Tuesday is Bleomycin day. Bleo makes Mom feel like she has the flu - nausea,bone aches, chills and that awful sensation that you will never be warm again. Grandma Margie made her a lavender pillow that can be heated in the microwave and that helps while we ride out the night. Here's a pic of Mom doing her Yoda impression on today's Bleo day.
