The Latest in Chemotherapy Fashion

Pieta, one of the shiny, happy people who work at Wilshire's front desk, has a daughter whose mother-in-law lost a friend to cancer. In her friend's memory, she's been knitting/crocheting (I don't know the diff - sorry!) blankets, hats and scarves for a year and yesterday she donated them all to the cancer patients here. Mom got the cutest pink hat with a pua on the side. Well, originally she was wearing it in the center of her forehead but I know on the left means married and on the right means single, so I'm pretty sure in the middle means something too! It goes well with the pink slippers I picked up at my beloved Target the other day. Here are some pics of Mom showing off her new duds...

Hi Lu
Hi everyone
It's me. Lu,you haven't heard from me in a while. I have been ill and under the doctor's care. First of all, I so glad you're doing so well. You can't be sick for the holidays. (smile) I know my prayers will be answered when you're on your feet and all this is behind you. Anyways, let me tell you what happened to me these last couple of days and the reasons why you have not heard from me. Last Thursday, I collasped at work and they had to rush me to San Antonio hospital. They took alot of blood work, ekg, brain scan and the whole nine yards. Thank goodness, everything was normal. Anyways, my blood pressure went high sky out of the blue. I didn't get released until later on the evening. On Sunday night, Tosh had to take me to the emergency at Kaiser in Fontana. So they kept me their that night and I didn't get released until Monday night. My blood pressure was not stable. So I barely went back to work on Thursday. I'm still not out of the woods, but, I'm taking it easy. Well, so much on me. Sorry. Keep in touch when you can. Prayers and God bless you all.
Love and friends as always
Mila
